A 1930s semi with an ageing boiler on its last legs and radiators that had never heated the back bedrooms properly. The owners wanted the heating sorted before winter — and, having been burned before by trades who leave a wake of damaged walls, they wanted the house handed back looking untouched.
Our heating engineers replaced the boiler, relocated it from an upstairs cupboard to the kitchen, upgraded six radiators and rebalanced the system. That kind of relocation always leaves scars: chased walls, redundant pipe holes, a stained cupboard interior. Instead of leaving them, our decorators followed the engineers through the house — filling, making good and repainting every affected surface so the only evidence of the job was a warm house.
It's a small example of why one roof matters. No second contractor to find, no gap between 'the heating's done' and 'the house looks right again'.
